Marvin and Company‚Äôs Next My95: Group Supports Unity House of Troy Children’s Holiday Program

Another group of Marvinites decided to pool their My95 donations to spread the holiday cheer to two local families. Ten employees and a total of $950 was used to help make the holidays special for two families in need through Unity House of Troy’s Children’s Holiday Program. The program offers an enormous holiday program providing gifts for all those receiving services though Unity House, as well as other children in need in our community. Each year Unity House provides gifts to over 1,500 children.

We were matched with two families, a family of 4 and a family of 6. We can all remember the magic and happiness we felt as kids during the holidays, and we are so happy to be able to give that joy to families who might have not been able to experience it otherwise.

The My95 program has been focused on recognizing amazing programs and organizations in our community, while celebrating the individuality of our staff. This My95 is a great example of just that. It shows that giving, even just a little, can make a big difference in person’s life. And giving together, can make a movement!
