Marvin recognizes the importance of balancing ones personal life and priorities with those of work. We understand that the most successful and productive employees are those that are enabled to meet the demands of both. Marvin offers a variety of benefits to help employees meet both their professional and personal goals.

Workplace Flexibility

To enable employees to better manage their responsibilities at home and at work, Marvin provides various flexible work schedule arrangements. In addition to providing a shorter work week relative to many CPA firms, Marvin may also offer:

Flextime

Permits personnel to choose their starting and ending times within limits set by management.

Telecommuting

Allows personnel to work remotely (usually from home). They can be connected to the office via computer, fax and/or telephone.

Part-time Work

Under this schedule, personnel receive proportionately less than full-time pay and a prorated portion of annual vacation and sick days. If the professional works at least 20 hours/week on a regular basis, he or she is eligible for most company benefits.

Vacation

 Part- and full-time employees are eligible for 2 – 3 weeks of paid vacation each year, depending on your position and your years of service with the firm. 

Sick  

Part- and full-time employees earn sick time to be used as income protection when such employees are unable to report to work due to an illness or injury or to care for an immediate family member. 

Paid Holidays

Part- and full-time employees are eligible for eight paid holidays.    

Paid Bereavement Leave

Paid time, up to three days is provided to employees suffering a loss of an immediate family member.  

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)  

This EAP is available to employees and their family members at no cost. This confidential program provides information, referral, and counseling services for those experiencing personal and family problems needing assistance in coping effectively.
