Firm:

A key to our development is the quality of our professional staff. In our opinion, our staff is among the best trained and motivated in our areas of practice. This is due to an in-depth interview process that includes very high academic accomplishment as a preliminary requirement for consideration. We subscribe to an intensive staff training program that exceeds the standards prescribed for continuing education by New York State. We keep our staff current on new developments and we maintain an extensive library on accounting, auditing, tax and consulting matters. We believe this provides the most efficient and effective service possible. Our firm is also a qualified provider of continuing education to the profession.

Organizationally, the firm consists of the following departments:

Annual Business Climate Survey

Marvin and Company, P.C. is a firm that is closely tied to the community and committed to fostering economic growth both locally and on a state-wide level in a number of different ways, most notably though our Annual Business Climate Survey.

Now in its 20th year, our survey was developed to respond to the many prospective clients who are looking to determine the status of the business marketplace and how it will affect them in terms of contracting, expanding and hiring. In order to offer the best barometer, we compile a business climate survey in conjunction with the local Chambers of Commerce and look to uncover what concerns and projections area businesses have for the year ahead.

With a greater than ten percent return rate, we feel that this survey is a valuable service; offering good insight that can be used not only by Marvin and Company, but by the Chambers, economic developers, government leaders and businesses.

As a veteran presence for over eighty years, Marvin and Company, P.C. has made a solid commitment to quality, not only in how we develop our business, but how these ideas and services can be reflected in the success of the organizations that we work with.
