Tom W. Donovan, CPA- Director

For over 25 years, Tom has been advising hundreds of Marvin and Company clients on a great variety of personal and business matters.

He has assisted numerous individuals in buying and selling businesses. With his effective negotiations and structuring of transactions, clients have maximized their positions and financial rewards. Tom has dealt with many family-owned businesses and the challenges that families often bring to the table. Taxation issues are of great interest to Tom. As head of Marvin's Tax Department, Tom often represents clients that are undergoing State or Federal tax audits.

Tom, a 1975 graduate of Siena College in Loudonville, New York is active in the Capital District community. He is a past President of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Capital Region. He is also a member of the Ellis Hospital Board of Trustees and a Trustee of the Siena College Alumni Scholarship Trust. On many occasions, he has spoken to groups on tax and financial topics.
