Ben R. Lasher, CPA-

Ben Lasher is a director of Marvin and Company and is involved
in planning, supervising and reviewing various audit engagements for voluntary agencies serving the needs of the mentally retarded,
mentally ill and developmentally disabled. He is an advisor and frequent seminar instructor on reimbursement methodology and
Consolidated Fiscal Reporting (CFR) with regard to programs funded by the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities,
Office of Mental Health and the Department of Education. He has presented before the New York State Association of Community
Residence Administrators, New York State Association of Residential Facilities, Financial Managers Association,
Association of Community Living Agencies in Mental Health and the United Cerebral Palsy Association of New York State, Inc.
He is a member of the CFR Working Group of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants which in conjunction with
the NYS Consolidated Fiscal Report - Interagency Committee developed the CFR Audit Guidelines. As an instructor for the
Foundation for Accounting Education, he has taught continuing professional education courses to other CPAs on the CFR audit
guidelines.
Ben is a 1973 graduate of the University at Albany where he earned a BS degree in Accounting.
He is a past vice president of the University at Albany School of Business Alumni Association and a past president of Columbia Golf
and Country Club. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of
Certified Public Accountants, Kinderhook Elks Lodge 2530, the Latham Area Chamber of Commerce and the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce.
